Your email address remains name@yourcompany.com. Recipients see your company domain, display name, and message. Mail applications can connect using secure, standards-based settings, while webmail gives you a convenient browser option. MXIO’s hostname is infrastructure, much like the address of a data center: necessary for the systems, mostly invisible to the people using them.
Why operate the platform directly?
Direct operation gives us control over the details that determine whether mail works well: TLS certificates, spam controls, sending policy, DKIM signing, DNS alignment, abuse response, software updates, and backups. It also gives HelixDesk a clear diagnostic path when a device cannot connect or another provider rejects a message.
Built for careful onboarding
New mail domains are introduced deliberately. Existing messages can be copied before the final DNS change, mailboxes and aliases are verified, and delivery is tested before the old service is retired. Sending volume is warmed up responsibly instead of being pushed through a brand-new address all at once.
